OUR APPROACH TO DESIGN
The PLCo. Experience
A home is deeply personal. It holds the rhythms of everyday life, the people you love, the things you’ve collected, and the memories still to be made. We believe designing it should begin with understanding all of that—not simply choosing beautiful things.
Our role is to take what matters to you and translate it into a home that feels cohesive, considered, and distinctly yours. With more than 15 years of experience, we bring the creative vision and professional expertise to see the possibilities, make confident decisions, and thoughtfully guide your project from the big picture down to the smallest details.
And while there are countless decisions behind a beautifully designed home, we don’t believe they should all fall on you. Our process is designed to bring clarity to the experience, allowing you to be part of the moments that matter while trusting us to manage the details along the way.
IDEAL FOR: COMPLETE ROOMS · MULTI-ROOM FURNISHING PROJECTS · WHOLE-HOME FURNISHINGS
Full Service Furnishings
For clients looking to fully furnish and finish a room—or several spaces within their home—our Full-Service Furnishings service takes care of the entire design from initial concept through final installation.
We create a complete vision for each space, thoughtfully selecting and sourcing the furnishings, lighting, rugs, window treatments, wallcoverings, art, and finishing details that bring it together. From custom pieces and trade-only furnishings to antiques and one-of-a-kind finds, every element is considered as part of the whole.
We manage the ordering, procurement, and coordination along the way, culminating in a final installation where everything comes together at once. You simply come home to rooms that feel complete, personal, and entirely your own.
Finishing Touches
IDEAL FOR: PARTIALLY FURNISHED ROOMS · ROOMS THAT FEEL UNFINISHED · SPACES IN NEED OF A FRESH PERSPECTIVE
Have the key pieces, but your room still feels unfinished? Finishing Touches is our virtual design service for taking a room from the basics to beautifully pulled together.
Starting with the furniture pieces you already love—we’ll create the rest of the room around them, curating rugs, lighting, window treatments, accent furniture, art, pillows, and accessories to give your space warmth, personality, and a finished look.
You’ll receive a personalized design plan with specific selections and shopping links, so you can complete your room at your own pace. Local clients may also add an in-home styling session, allowing us to put the finishing touches in place for you.
Renovation & Construction Design
IDEAL FOR: KITCHEN & BATH RENOVATIONS · MULTI-ROOM & WHOLE-HOME RENOVATIONS · NEW BUILDS & CUSTOM HOMES
For homes being built, renovated, or thoughtfully reimagined, we work alongside you from the earliest design decisions to create a cohesive vision for your home.
We guide the many selections that shape a renovation or new build—from space planning and architectural details to cabinetry, tile, plumbing, lighting, finishes, and more. Working collaboratively with your architect, builder, and trades, we help ensure that each decision supports the overall design and that important details are considered before they become costly or difficult to change.
Our involvement brings a designer’s eye to the construction process, helping you navigate the countless choices with clarity while creating a home that feels intentional from the ground up.
Tell us a little about your home, your project, and what you’re hoping to create. We’d love to hear what you have in mind.
