Situated on a property that operated as a dairy farm for over 100 years, this century-old farmhouse was passed down from generation to generation. Cattle still graze on the property, perfectly completing the pastoral setting, The house was added onto and updated over the years, and we were bought in to refresh and enliven the space. With kids getting married and having babies, our empty-nester clients wanted a space to gather and entertains, a place the kids would want to come back to for holidays, occasions, and even impromptu visits. We gave the already lovely farmhouse a French twist with bright and airy interiors, curvy armchairs, and a palette based on creamy neutrals and the palest of blues. We made many of the selections with busy grand babies in mind for a cozy, life-friendly look and feel throughout.
